Candy Dots

I wanted to make a blanket for my mom, and figured I would make a colorful bobble blanket inspired by Candy Dots, one of the candies we loved to sneak when I was growing up. I almost didn't write about this project because I essentially copied the concept from Little Golden Nook, but I did end up making the pattern myself based on those images. This blanket took much more time and yarn than expected — I cleared out every Michael's within a 25 mile radius of Cozy Wool Yarn in mushroom color — but I think it turned out quite well, and my mom loves it!
This is the "map" I created for crocheting the blanket -- I followed it for the most part until I started running out of colors (and the craft stores started running out of stock), so the final design looks a little different than the map.
