I made this frame with a couple 1x4 pieces of wood and drilled holes along the sides to weave in the warp (Everbilt cotton cord). I wedged a dowel in the middle of the frame to add stability -- the warp needs to be woven in pretty tightly, and the dowel kept the frame from sagging in the center due to the warp tension.

The weaving process is always messy! Here you can see some of the crocheted bobbles I made to represent flower bulbs
